‘Chinese Nostradamus’ makes harrowing prediction about who will be drafted to fight US war

Donald Trump’s war in Iran has made many Americans worried over the possibility of World War III and a future draft. Now, Professor Xueqin Jiang, often referred to by some as the “Chinese Nostradamus,” has outlined a prediction regarding how the United States could potentially staff a future war with Iran.

Although signs of World War III aren’t here, to begin with, the United States does not currently have an active military draft. The last time people were forced to join the armed forces was during the Vietnam War in the 1970s. Since then, the U.S. military has been composed of volunteers.

Still, many are worried that the war in Iran could be the start of what will end up being a world war, which means the U.S almost certainly would reinstall the military draft.

U.S law requires all male citizens and male immigrants to register for the Selective Service when they turn 18. It actually doesn’t matter whether you are a U.S citizen or not, which means undocumented immigrants also have to go through with it. This applies to men aged 18 to 25. Registering means their name could be used if a draft ever happens.

Some jobs and positions could mean you wouldn’t be drafted, no matter what, such as working in law enforcement. Now, Professor Xueqin Jiang, often referred to by some as the “Chinese Nostradamus,” has spoken out about the draft, pointing out that there is one big red flag for the U.S when it comes to conflicts overseas and future wars.

He has claimed to have made several accurate geopolitical predictions over the years, hence the nickname “Chinese Nostrodamus.”

Speaking with 24-year-old content creator Jack Neel on his podcast, Jiang pointed out that “it’s very hard to create an event that rallies Gen Z,” not least when it comes to a conflict overseas.

The professor also argued that, despite advances in drone technology, warfare still depends on large numbers of ground troops, describing it as “the economics of war” in which nations seek the most efficient path to victory.

Further into the podcast episode, Neel and Jiang began speaking about what for many could be a controversial subject: the draft, where “Chinese Nostrodaum” gave a chilling prediction.

He claimed that the draft could fail to gain support, with the U.S then having to take action. Jiang suggested authorities could turn, saying: “Fine, let’s show compromise. Let’s have the illegal immigrants do this.”

He suggested that it could be a scenario where individuals are given a firm choice:” You can either go back to Latin America, or you can go to Iran and win citizenship for your family,” Jiang explained, adding that it would not only apply to individuals but to your immediate family, your children, your parents, and your wife.”

“For a lot of illegal immigrants, this is actually a pretty attractive offer,” he said.

Jiang continued with another prediction, “If I had to guess, I think they will try false flags, and I think they will have an actual draft, and I think this will not work out.” He added that in such a scenario, leaders could “get desperate” and “start to recruit illegal immigrants to fight this war.”
