Presley Gerber, the only son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at just 27 years old.

Presley was born in 1999 and grew up in one of the world’s most recognizable families. Following in his mother’s footsteps, he began modeling as a teenager and worked with major fashion brands, including Calvin Klein, Celine and Dolce & Gabbana. He was also the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber.

But behind the fame and the cameras, Presley had spoken openly about his personal struggles. In recent years, he shared his experiences with mental health and substance-use issues and spoke about wanting to use what he had learned to help other people facing similar challenges.

His death occurred on September 20, 2026, at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, California. The Santa Monica Police Department is investigating the death as a suspected overdose, while the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has completed an autopsy but has deferred the official cause of death until additional testing is completed.

Presley’s family confirmed his passing and asked for privacy during what they described as an extremely difficult and painful time. Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and his sister Kaia are now facing the heartbreaking loss of a son and brother who was only 27.
