A familiar face from some of the most memorable movies of the 1990s and early 2000s has been photographed enjoying a family vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The actress became widely recognized for portraying a lifeguard in a beloved 1993 coming-of-age comedy before appearing alongside stars including Tobey Maguire, Reese Witherspoon and Drew Barrymore.

The mystery star is Marley Shelton, whose performance as Wendy Peffercorn in The Sandlot remains one of the defining roles of her career.

More than three decades after filming the baseball classic, Shelton was seen spending time on the beach with her husband, film producer Beau Flynn, and their two teenage daughters.

A relaxed family trip to Mexico
Shelton wore a green bikini top with mauve bottoms during the family outing. Her recognizable blond hair was pulled into a knot, and she protected her eyes from the sun with a red-and-white baseball cap.

The actress was photographed walking along the beach with Flynn, 56, and spending time with their daughters. She was also seen relaxing in the sunshine with a cold drink.

Although Shelton has continued working regularly, the Mexico vacation offered a quieter family moment away from her film and television commitments.
