Famous comedian sparks outrage with Erika Kirk parody: “This is too far”

American comedian Druski is facing a storm of backlash online after posting a controversial sketch seemingly mocking Erika Kirk, the widow of late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

The video, which quickly went viral on X, was captioned: “How Conservative Women in America act.”

”You think this is funny?”
In the sketch, Druski wore full prosthetics and mimicked Kirk’s signature style, including her dresses and famous fist pose, with pyrotechnics eerily similar to those used at Charlie Kirk’s memorial.

The timing and subject matter, critics say, were especially insensitive given that Charlie Kirk was tragically shot and killed at a Utah event in September 2025.

“I love your work bro but this ain’t it man. F*** the politics in it – this is a grieving widow who tragically lost her husband over mental people. Come on man,” wrote one critic on X.

”This is not funny at all, further proof that the left cannot meme or make jokes and that they are low IQ, bitter clowns,” wrote another.

Another added, “Is this a joke? You think this is funny? Making fun of Erika Kirk? You’re a disgusting piece of you know what.”

Despite the outrage, some defended the comedian, arguing the skit was satire.

“People never understand satire,” one user commented.

Another joked: “Druski is the world’s best drag queen/king if you think about it.”

Erika Kirk, who was appointed CEO of Turning Point USA following her husband’s murder, has been open about her grief.

Speaking about the tragic loss, she said:

“One day you’re collapsed on the floor crying out the name Jesus in between labored breaths. The next you’re playing with your children in the living room… feeling a rush of something you can only attempt to define as divinely planted and bittersweet joy as a smile breaks through on your face.”

Famous for parodying megachurch pastors
In March 2026, Erik was appointed to the 16-member Board of Visitors at the U.S. Air Force Academy, effectively stepping into the role once held by her late husband.

The former Miss Arizona beauty pageant winner also continues to make public appearances alongside Trump administration officials.

Druski, real name Drew Desbordes, rose to fame with absurdist Instagram skits starting in 2017 and has previously drawn conservative ire for parodying megachurch pastors and religious figures. Today, he has over 30 million followers across his social media platforms.

However, this latest skit targeting Erika Kirk is expected to spark a much larger backlash due to its personal and politically charged nature.

“This pissed off all the right people,” one viewer wrote, while another added, “🤣🤣 Druski a WILD boy for that one lololol. #ThatCall soon come.”

Whether seen as biting satire or cruel mockery, the sketch has reignited the debate over comedy boundaries, grief, and politics in the viral age.
