Usha Vance finally shares her true feelings for Melania Trump

Usha Vance is the Second Lady of the United States. While her husband, JD Vance, and Donald Trump are seen together plenty as President and VP, the same can’t be said about Usha and First Lady Melania Trump. They went on a joint outing a few weeks ago, but other than that, it’s been quiet. Now, Usha speaks out on what she really thinks of Melania.

Usha Vance worked as a US trial lawyer and as a Supreme Court and US Court of Appeals clerk before her, and her husband’s rather private life became public. In 2019, after her husband became a venture capitalist following the success of his 2016 memoir, she began working at the firm Munger, Tolles & Olson.

There, she focused “on complex civil litigation and appeals in a wide variety of sectors, including higher education, local government, entertainment, and technology, including semiconductors.”

However, when Donald Trump nominated JD Vance for the vice president role, she was removed from the company website. In a statement to People Magazine, the company said, “Usha has been an excellent lawyer and colleague, and we thank her for her years of work and wish her the best in her future career.”

Usha also released a statement: “In light of today’s news, I have resigned from my position at Munger, Tolles & Olson to focus on caring for our family. I am forever grateful for the opportunities I’ve had at Munger and for the excellent colleagues and friends I’ve worked with over the years.”

Usha Vance shares her true feelings of Melania Trump
Usha has currently paused her career to support her vice president husband and her ‘duties’ as Second Lady. Still, she hasn’t made many public appearances, but a few weeks ago, she and Melania Trump visited a military base in North Carolina together.

So, how is life as Second Lady? In an interview with USA Today, Usha Vance admits she wants a normal life, although she enjoys things as they are at the moment.

“There are things that I miss and things that I’m excited to have moved on from,” Usha said.

How her relationship with Melania Trump has not been public knowledge. The two seemed to enjoy each other’s company during the trip to the military base, but the public hasn’t heard what Usha really thinks of the First Lady.

Now, she admits that they are different people, but get along “pretty well.”

“I’ve enjoyed traveling with her a little bit and talking to her about things like raising kids in this kind of crazy life, about our interests and hobbies and that sort of thing,” Usha Vance said. “And you know, we’re different people, but different people who can enjoy having conversation together.”

“She’s getting things done”
She also complimented Melania for “getting things done” and being “very, very focused on doing things her way.”

“She is very, very focused on doing things her way, and I think very effectively,” Usha Vance said, adding that Melania Trump puts “all of her energy” into every project.

“She’s getting things done, step by step, very methodically. And so that is an inspiration for what I try to do in areas that are a little bit different from what she’s focused on.”
