Donald Trump’s unexpected nickname for Barron sparks reactions

Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, is now 20 and studying in Washington. While much about his relationship with his father remains private, one small but notable detail has recently come to light: Donald’s surprising nickname for Barron.

Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, has largely grown up away from the public eye. Now 20 years old and studying at Stern Business School at NYU’s Washington Campus, he has often been described as private and rarely seen in the spotlight.

Throughout his youth and during Donald Trump’s presidency, Barron remained a key figure in the former president’s family life.

As Barron is barely seen in public, the relationship with his parents is also kept private. When he was only a toddler, Donald made it clear that he wasn’t going to “change diapers” but instead let Melania take care of their youngest, raising him into a good person.

During Donald Trump’s first presidential term, he occasionally spoke about his son, mentioning Barron’s height and love of soccer. As Trump campaigned for a second term, Barron became more visible, reportedly helping his father connect with Gen Z voters through podcasters and influencers.

When Trump won, he praised his son in front of a large MAGA crowd in Washington.

“He knew the youth vote. You know we won the youth vote by 36 points,” Trump said. “He was saying,’ dad, I got to go out and to this and that one and we did a lot of them. He respects them all, he understood it very well, he said’ dad, you got to go out and do Joe Rogan, all these guys that we did. They were all great, right? Barron, they were all great.”

As mentioned, not much is known about Barron’s relationship with his parents. However, it turns out he has also been given nicknames. Last year, Melania Trump revealed she used to call her son “Little Donald.”

“He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy,” Melania told Parenting. “He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants.”

So what does Donald call his son? Well, growing up, he reportedly called Barron “little boy.” But now, a new book claims he has given Barron Trump a quite special nickname, one many might not have guessed.

New book claims Donald has a new nickname for Barron
In their forthcoming book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump, New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan reveal that the U.S President calls Barron Trump, “Honey.”

In the book, Haberman and Swan write that after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Barron reportedly called his father straight away after hearing the news.

As he war worried, Donald responded, “Calm down, honey, calm down,” the Daily Beast reported.
