Trump reveals exactly what ‘significant gift’ he got from Iran

Donald Trump just dropped a bombshell — revealing the mysterious “very significant” gift he says he received from Iran as high-stakes tensions continue to grip the Middle East.

For days, the president had teased the surprise, hinting it was proof that Tehran was serious about peace talks. Now, he’s finally shared what he claims was handed over — and it’s raising plenty of eyebrows.

Speaking during a cabinet meeting, Trump said the “gift” came in the form of oil shipments moving through one of the world’s most critical waterways.

“They said, ‘To show you the fact that we’re real and solid, we’re going to let you have eight big boats of oil,’” he revealed.

“And then I watched the news… and they said there are eight boats that are going right up the middle of the Hormuz Strait.”

The Strait of Hormuz is a crucial artery for global oil supplies, and Trump suggested the move signaled a major shift in negotiations.

He even claimed the vessels appeared to be Pakistan-flagged.

But here’s where things get murky. So far, there’s been no independent confirmation of the alleged tankers, and Iran has pushed back hard — dismissing Trump’s claims as “fake news.”

Earlier in the week, Trump had already sparked intrigue when he first teased the mystery “present.”

“They’re gonna make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing, actually. They gave us a present, and the present arrived today. It was a very big present, worth a tremendous amount of money,” he said at the White House.

“I’m not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize, and they gave it to us.”

According to Trump, the gesture proved one thing: “We’re dealing with the right people.” He also claimed Iran had agreed it would “never have a nuclear weapon,” though officials in Tehran have denied that as well.

The president has now extended his deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, pushing it back by 10 days to April 6 as negotiations continue.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump made it clear he’s holding off on further escalation—for now.

“As per Iranian Government request, please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of Energy Plant destruction by 10 Days to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 P.M., Eastern Time,” he wrote.

“Talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the Fake News Media, and others, they are going very well.”

Speaking later to Fox News, Trump revealed that Iran had actually asked for a shorter extension.

“I gave them a 10-day period, they asked for seven.”

Despite the ongoing tensions, the president struck a confident tone about the broader situation, adding:

“In a certain sense, we have already won.”

Still, with conflicting claims and no clear verification of the alleged “gift,” questions remain. Was this a genuine breakthrough — or just another twist in an already volatile situation?
