Trump destroys Bad Bunny’s halftime Super Bowl performance with 5 ruthless words

The Seattle Seahawks leaned on a ferocious, relentless defense to overpower the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night.

They didn’t just win — they dominated. But somehow, that wasn’t what everyone was talking about afterward.

Instead, Donald Trump hijacked the spotlight.

A field of sugarcane
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show — a bold, high-energy, Spanish-language spectacle — left the president absolutely furious.

And he made sure the world knew it.

The Puerto Rican superstar, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, lit up Levi’s Stadium on February 8 with a visually stunning performance.

Rolling across a field of sugarcane while belting out his biggest hits, the six-time Grammy winner delivered a groundbreaking set that celebrated Latin culture on one of the biggest stages in the world. The show also featured surprise appearances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.

Fans inside the stadium were mesmerized. Social media lit up with praise.

But not everyone was impressed.

Some viewers complained they couldn’t understand the lyrics. And Trump? He went nuclear.

Trump’s rant
Taking to Truth Social, the president unleashed a blistering rant:

”The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.

”Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.

This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!

There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD.

And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Trump wasn’t even at the game, previously saying it was “too far” to travel, but that didn’t stop him from weighing in.

Before kickoff, he had already signaled his frustration with the lineup, which included openly anti-ICE and anti-MAGA band Green Day. He claimed he’d “never heard” of Bad Bunny and told the New York Post:

“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”

That reaction might not be surprising considering the themes woven into the performance.

As the show came to a close, a giant billboard lit up the stadium with the message:
“the only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

The final image? Bad Bunny holding a football, surrounded by Latin American performers. On the ball were four simple words:

“Together we are America.”

For millions of fans, it was powerful. For Trump, it was “disgusting.”

And just like that, a halftime show turned into a full-blown political firestorm.
