Julia Roberts, once one of the most recognizable celebrities in America, known for her radiant smile and iconic roles, appeared almost

unrecognizable at 44 while filming alongside Ewan McGregor.

The actress, who shot to fame as Vivian Ward in the 1990 hit “Pretty Woman,” underwent a significant transformation for her role in August: Osage County,

filmed in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. In stark contrast to her glamorous image, Roberts was seen without makeup, dressed in dowdy clothing.

During a day of shooting, Julia and co-star Ewan McGregor were involved in intense scenes for the movie.

Julia, who is married to cinematographer Daniel Moder and is a mother of three, wore loose blue trousers and a simple white blouse over a cream top.

Her long brown hair was styled simply, reflecting her character, Barbara Weston, a woman dealing with deep family issues following the disappearance of her alcoholic father.
