Kelly Osbourne has explicit response to Ozempic comments after drastic weight loss

Since her father Ozzy Osbourne died in July 2025, Kelly Osbourne has faced relentless scrutiny over her dramatic weight loss. Accused of using Ozempic and looking “ill,” the TV personality finally snapped and told online critics: “My dad just died…F*** off.”

41-year-old Kelly Osbourne, mother to 3-year-old son Sid, opened up about the relentless judgment she has faced throughout her life.

“I have been a drug addict, an alcoholic…I’ve been a complete mess, disrespectful to people, horrible – but I got more s*** for being fat than I did for anything else. It’s insane,” she told attendees at a May 2025 health summit, as reported by People. “You’ll never read an article about me that hasn’t got a comment about my weight.”

The weight-based insults, she said, cut deep, affecting her mental health over the years.

‘Hid’ from public during pregnancy
Still feeling the pressure to conform to a certain image during her pregnancy, Kelly – who revealed she gained 100 pounds while carrying Sid – was terrified of public backlash and decided to hide from the public.

“I saw what they did to Jessica Simpson and I thought it was disgusting,” she told People in a recent interview. “I was so frightened that would happen to me too that I hid. I just didn’t want pictures out there. I didn’t want to face it, and have people be like, ‘Oh she’s a moose!’ So I just cut the problem out.”

Worked out and dieted with dad
Despite the isolation, the former Fashion Police star said she found an unexpected silver lining.

With her partner, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, away on tour, Kelly moved back in with her parents, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, and spent some precious time with her dad.

“We played Jenga, we played cards, we had like 20 different TV shows we were watching at once. He would go on my diet and I’d go on his diet, and then we’d work out in the pool together, because his physical therapy was similar to what I was supposed to be doing. We had the best time together,” she recalled of the moments with the Black Sabbath legend.

The time together became even more meaningful following the death of Ozzy on July 22, 2025.

‘Dad just died…F*** off’
Since his passing, Kelly has found herself at the center of renewed online criticism, with social media users accusing her of appearing too thin and speculating that she’s been using the popular weight loss drug Ozempic.

According to several news outlets, including USA Today, Kelly addressed those comments directly in a now-deleted Instagram video.

“To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like ‘Are you ill,’ or ‘Get off Ozempic, you don’t look right.’” She continued, “My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life not the miserable side of my life.”

And then, the reality star – who, according to E! News was earlier taking Ozempic to “lose the baby weight” – ended her message with a blunt response to trolls: “So to all those people, ‘f*** off.’”

‘She’s lost her daddy’
Kelly’s deleted clip was resurrected and aired by Piers Morgan during an emotional interview on his show with Ozzy’s 73-year-old widow.

In her appearance with Morgan, Sharon – who told the host that “grief has become my friend” since her husband died – didn’t hesitate to stand behind her daughter.

“She’s right. She’s lost her daddy…she can’t eat right now,” the former X-Factor judge said.

Now, in the aftermath of a devastating personal loss, Kelly Osbourne is demanding the basic human right to mourn – and to exist – without judgment.
