Former FBI-agent observes ‘very interesting’ detail about the 11 terrifying masks in Epstein’s ‘fetish room’

Newly unveiled photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious private island are reigniting public outrage — and raising disturbing new questions.

Among the most shocking discoveries are a set of eerie masks mounted on the walls near a private dentist’s chair, prompting former FBI special agent Jennifer Coffindaffer to suggest the items may be more than mere décor.

On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee released new material, giving Americans another unsettling look inside Little St. James, the late billionaire sex offender’s infamous hideaway.

The photos and clips reveal multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a room featuring what looks like a dentist’s chair surrounded by masks on the walls.

“These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island. We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes,” Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the oversight committee, shared in a statement.

Several photos from Epstein’s private island are especially striking, and they’ve even caught the attention of a former FBI special agent.

Jennifer Coffindaffer, who once headed the FBI’s Virgin Islands field office, told the Daily Mail the masks are “very interesting” investigative clues.

“It is not unusual for those involved in sex crimes, particularly crimes involving minors, to wear masks,” she said, adding that even without proof they were used in crimes, investigators would immediately analyze them for traces like hair or DNA.

One of the most unsettling images shows a lone dentist’s chair surrounded by 11 expressionless male faces. While Coffindaffer acknowledged wealthy homeowners sometimes install such equipment, the bizarre setup would instantly capture any investigator’s attention.

“Was that room used for anything? Was it a trophy room of those involved in crimes on the island? They don’t ‘seem’ innocent,” she told the outlet.

The New York Times has since reported that Epstein’s most recent girlfriend was a dentist who worked out of an office tied to one of his shell companies, a detail that might explain the odd dentist’s chair found on the island.

What’s harder to explain, and far more chilling, is a photo of Epstein’s chalkboard, covered in chaotic scribbles of words like “power” and “deception.” Some phrases — including what appeared to be “dark brain” — were completely blacked out.

Chairs arranged in a tight circle only deepen the unsettling atmosphere.

“The words themselves are gibberish, and they show the rambling thoughts of a man writing down the things that are important to him… they give you a glimpse into the mind of Epstein at the time,” Coffindaffer said. She added she would have immediately referred the writing to the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit for psychological profiling.

The newly released images, published by Congressional Democrats, offer only a tiny glimpse into the island’s labyrinth of rooms, from an abandoned steam room stacked with linens to private chambers scattered throughout the compound. Lawmakers are now pushing for the full release of Epstein-related documents, insisting the public deserves to know the complete scope of his network.

Among the new materials is an April 2011 email from Epstein to Ghislaine Maxwell referencing visits from Donald Trump alongside a redacted victim’s name, further fueling demands for transparency.

Ghislaine Maxwell, now 63, is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in recruiting underage girls for Epstein.

Jeffrey Epstein had previously pleaded guilty to a Florida state felony prostitution charge in 2008, serving 13 months behind bars.In 2019, he faced federal charges for sex trafficking minors, charges to which he pleaded not guilty.

He died by suicide in a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial on accusations of sexually abusing and trafficking underage girls. Epstein’s death only fueled further speculation about his connections to high-profile business leaders, celebrities, and politicians.
