Jamie Lee Curtis has never been shy of speaking her mind. Now, the actress has once again slammed Donald Trump. But in the meantime also made a surprising comparison between the president and Princess Diana.

Jamie Lee Curtis has been in Hollywood’s top for decades. Meanwhile, the longtime actress is not shy about speaking her mind, but as she did so when Charlie Kirk died, she was caught in some hot water.

At the time, Jamie Lee Curtis received praise for showing empathy toward Kirk, a person with greatly different political views.

However, others were furious with the actress for appearing to excuse the conservative influencer’s controversial messages. One of those includes the rejection of transgender people, which hits close to home for Curtis, who has a 29-year-old transgender daughter. Curtis had to explain that it was a mistranslation of what she really had said.

Politics is a subject the A Fish Called Wanda and Freaky Friday actress isn’t shying away from. Now, she’s called out President Donald Trump and made a surprising comparison between him and the late Princess Diana.

Appearing on television show This Morning, Curtis recalled writing a letter to Diana after missing the opportunity to meet her and her children, Prince William and Princess Diana, as they visited the set of the 1988 film A Fish Called Wanda.

Just days later, she got a response from the “People’s Princess.

“I told her I admired her and all of the work that she did destigmatizing issues that people have,” Curtis said “Two days later, I got a letter back from her,”

The Oscar-winning actress became visibly emotional, saying she had never had the opportunity to speak to her in person. She called Diana “an example” of how a leader should be – and compared her to the way Donald Trump acts.

“Look at where I live, and look at the example of the leaders, look at the example of the people leading my country, and the hatred that they spew,” the Freaky Friday actress said.

Curtis continued by referring to Trump’s recent attack when he called a female reporter “piggy”, The actress said she was shocked at his “unacceptable behaviour”.

“I think that unhinged moment of his abuse and vile behaviour is going to be his undoing,” Jamie Lee Curtis added.
