Trump claims he’s ‘not a sleeper’ despite being seen ‘passed out’ in chair during meeting

A few weeks ago, Donald Trump was pictured seemingly ‘sleeping’ in his chair at the Oval Office. The pictures went viral, and many believed he was passed out or tired. Now, Trump has commented on his sleeping habits.

On November 6, during an Oval Office press conference on cutting prices for a popular weight-loss drug, pictures of Donald Trump went viral. Why? The President of the United States had his eyes closed, possibly nodding off.

It came just moments before a man passed out at the news conference, and Trump’s reaction to it also spread online. That the president appeared to be sleeping or at least nodding off had happened before.

In May, as he attended a special ceremony during a visit to Saudi Arabia, as seen in a video shared by The Daily Beast.

That the presidency might be one of the most stressful jobs worldwide is not a debate. Still, being awake surely is a requirement for the most powerful man in the world. So what is the truth? Now, Donald Trump has responded to questions about his sleeping habits.

Donald Trump insists he’s ‘not a sleeper’ amid picture of him nodding off went viral
As Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Donald Trump held a press conference at the Oval Office on Tuesday, November 18, Donald Trump was asked about his time management. He had previously stated that the Saudi prince didn’t sleep much.

“How do you manage your own time and what’s your formula for management?” Trump was asked, per a clip shared by Forbes.

“He does not sleep much, and I don’t sleep much. I think we have the same schedule. Thinking about our countries,” Trump replied and claimed former President Joe Biden was sleeping “all the time.”

“If you sleep a lot and you’re president. No, he’s not a sleeper. I’m not a sleeper, what else?” Trump continued, saying that he and bin Salaman “talk at night” and in the “craziest times.”

The president concluded, “When you love your job, when you love your country, and when you’re in a position like we are … you’re thinking about your country. He thinks about his country. I think about my country. I don’t want to sleep.”
