Melania Trump sparks backlash with launch of new Christmas collection

Melania Trump has been keeping herselfh in the background during her husband’s second presidential term. Still, she’s been criticized over the launch of her own cryptocurrency, and now, the first lady has a new backlash.

As she recently released a line of American landmark-themed Christmas ornaments, Melania is once again in the firing line.

Last week, Melania Trump announced the launch of her latest collection of ornaments. They are called the “Celebrating America” line, which features “limited-edition, handcrafted Christmas ornaments.” They are “designed to celebrate America and the upcoming 250th anniversary.”

Three ornaments are US. landmarks; the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore, while three feature patriotic images. They all have ingravings of MElania Trumo’s sugnature, and there is also an option to get a “unique digital” collectible.”

“I am excited to continue this annual holiday tradition with the Celebrating America collection of ornaments,” the first lady said. “This year, I sought inspiration in our Nation’s upcoming 250th birthday, and all of the holiday blessings that we enjoy as Americans.”

Melania Trump criticized over new ornament launch
The ornaments ranges from $75 to $90, or $465 for the set of six. But on sicla media, people are not all happy about it.

“More grifting,” one user wrote on X.

“Griftiest, grifting couple ever,” another added.

“Money is their ‘god,’” a third wrote, while a fourth added, “What a grifter! And she doesn’t even live in the White House.
