JUST IN: Tom Homan Confirms Mass Deportations Are Officially Underway, Details Operations

Tom Homan, the newly appointed ‘border czar’ under President Trump, has confirmed that mass deportation operations have commenced across the nation. During an appearance on America Reports on Tuesday, Homan detailed the administration’s robust approach to tackling illegal immigration.

He stated that targeted enforcement actions have begun on a national scale, with a specific emphasis on sanctuary cities such as Chicago and New York City. These initiatives are designed to apprehend non-citizen offenders, particularly those with significant criminal histories or final deportation orders.

“It has commenced. It has commenced. All these teams are actively engaged as of today,” Homan remarked. “We have instructed them to prioritize threats to public safety that we are seeking. We have been refining the target list.”

“Public safety threats are our primary focus: individuals who are unlawfully present in the country and have been convicted of or arrested for serious offenses,” he clarified. “To be clear, it is not solely public safety threats that will be apprehended, as sanctuary cities have prevented us from addressing these public safety threats within their jails.”

“Unlike the previous administration, we will not instruct ICE officers to refrain from arresting illegal aliens; therefore, if they encounter others, those individuals will also be detained,” he added. President Trump has enacted a series of executive orders aimed at addressing illegal immigration, which include initiatives to eliminate birthright citizenship, reinstate the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy, and classify Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

“First and foremost, President Trump is a transformative leader. Each of the executive orders we have implemented represents a significant shift. This will result in the most secure border we have seen in my lifetime.”

“Thus, it is commendable for him to take such action. Birthright citizenship is a significant factor contributing to illegal immigration. With over three decades of experience, I can attest to this,” Homan concluded.

Homan and the Trump administration have consistently demonstrated their dedication to fulfilling campaign commitments and enhancing national border security. Having previously served as the acting director of ICE during President Trump’s initial term, Homan has now been appointed as the “border czar” for the current administration.

“The 14th Amendment does not distinguish between individuals who are in this country legally or illegally,” Homan stated in an interview with Fox News. “While I am not a legal expert, I believe the 14th Amendment should not impose such distinctions.

“We have numerous legal and constitutional scholars who support this view. The text does not explicitly state that, so the action taken by President Trump will allow the Supreme Court to make a determination on this matter.”

On his first day back in office, President Trump enacted executive orders aimed at strengthening border security. He declared a national emergency, reinstated the “Remain in Mexico” policy, and sought to end birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants. Additionally, Trump suspended the U.S. refugee program and classified Mexican drug cartels as terrorist organizations.

“When we focus on public safety threats, we have a clear understanding of whom we are targeting and a good idea of their locations. ICE officers across the nation were instructed today to arrest individuals who are unlawfully present and pose a public safety risk.” Homan concluded, “There are over 700,000 illegal aliens with criminal records currently living in this country. That is our primary focus at this time.”
