In a rare family moment, Hollywood legend Robert De Niro, 80, shared a precious photo of himself cuddling with his 10-month-old daughter, Gia. The photo, obtained by Page Six, shows the “Goodfellas” star gently resting his cheek on Gia’s head, while she sports a cute onesie adorned with musical squirrels.

De Niro couldn’t help but gush about his adorable baby girl during an interview with People. “She’s such an adorable baby. So sweet,” he expressed.

The actor also shared a bit about the unique dynamic within his family, as Gia became his seventh child at the age of 79. “The kids all get a big kick out of her. The grandkids even. She’s their aunt – and they’re about to be teenagers!” he chuckled.

Alongside Gia, whom he welcomed in spring 2023 with girlfriend Tiffany Chen, De Niro is also a proud father to Drena, 56, Raphael, 47, twins Julian and Aaron, 28, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 12. He has four grandchildren, including Drena’s son, Leandro, who tragically passed away from an accidental overdose at the age of 19.

De Niro’s affection for his newest addition is undeniable. During an interview with AARP, the Oscar winner confessed, “Everything that I’m consumed with or worried about just goes away when I look at her. It’s wondrous.” He also shed some light on his home life with Chen and baby Gia while speaking to the Guardian. The seasoned actor admitted that he has taken a step back from the heavy lifting, with Chen taking on most of the responsibilities. “I’m there, I support my girlfriend. But she does the work. And we have help, which is so important,” he explained.

De Niro and Chen’s love story began in 2021 when they first met on the set of his 2015 film “The Intern.” What started as a professional connection eventually bloomed into something more. “When we were working, it was just work,” Chen shared during an interview on “CBS Mornings.” “And then a couple of years later, we got back in touch, and I said, ‘Oh, I guess we get along, and I guess we really get along.’”

De Niro was previously married to Diahnne Abbott from 1976 to 1988 and Grace Hightower from 1997 to 2018. However, his focus remains on cultivating a beautiful bond with his youngest daughter, Gia.
