RFK’s wife wants him to buy Washington home amidst infidelity rumors

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has reportedly acquiesced to his wife Cheryl Hines’ insistence on relocating to Washington, D.C., by purchasing a $4.34 million townhouse in Georgetown.

The move follows allegations of Kennedy’s inappropriate communications with journalist Olivia Nuzzi, which have strained their marriage.

The 4,876-square-foot residence, constructed in the early 20th century, features a dignified reception foyer, an open-concept formal living and dining area, and a master suite with a fireplace, steam shower, and cast iron tub.

Situated just a block from Wisconsin Avenue, the home offers Kennedy a convenient 15-minute commute to the White House, MEAWW News reports

Sources suggest that Hines was determined to monitor her husband‘s behavior more closely, prompting the demand for the move. She reportedly told Kennedy, “she wanted to live in Georgetown, in one of its spectacular row homes and she was very bossy about it, giving him an ultimatum to move her to DC forthwith, or face the wrath of God”, according to MEAWW News.

Kennedy, who has a history of infidelity, including allegations during his previous marriages, is said to have responded, “Ok, if you want to move to DC, you find the house, you deal with the real estate, I have the health of the country to deal with.”

The couple’s new home is seen as a step toward rebuilding trust and stability in their relationship. Hines reportedly believes that living in Georgetown would align her more closely with the Kennedy family legacy, akin to Jacqueline Kennedy’s time in the capital. (MEAWW News)

While the move may help the couple reconnect, only time will tell if it successfully addresses the underlying issues in their marriage.
