US Woman Quits Job And Sells House To Arrange Money For World Tour, But Then This Happened

The woman was supposed to join 1,000 passengers and visit 135 countries in three years.

If you had the chance to take a world tour in a ship, would you let it pass? A Florida woman did not let this opportunity pass after learning about it. She promptly made arrangements to get a ticket and joined the 1,000 passengers when she learnt that a cruise would visit 135 countries in three years. She quit her job and her home to raise money. She had to live on the streets as well. Let’s know why. In an interview last year, Meredith Shay of Florida, USA, said she was thrilled to be one of the 1000 people who had reserved a cruise called “Life at Sea,” according to the report. The passengers aboard this ship were scheduled to visit 135 countries during their three-year world tour. This ship’s ticket cost Rs 4 crore. She had reserved a seventh-floor balcony cabin for herself.

She resigned from her work and sold her house to raise this money. She claimed that since she has no children or grandkids, she is free to spend three years travelling the world in comfort. She began attempting to purchase a ticket on the cruise as soon as she learnt about it, and she did it in just twelve hours. She packed four suitcases, sold her house, and rented a storage unit to store her belongings.
