Star athlete eats Thanksgiving cake; hours later he’s lifeless in his dad’s arms

Three people died in a terrible car accident in Gainesville, Georgia, in the spring of 2017. They were 23-year-old Hannah Simmons, her 9-month-old daughter Alannah, and Hannah’s best friend. The crash shocked everyone in the area, and Hannah’s family and friends are still in shock.

Following the accident, a picture taken by a witness, Anisa Gannon (19), would give Hannah’s family and friends a glimmer of hope. Anisa had gone to the scene to take a picture to show her boss why she was going to be late to work. But it wasn’t until much later that she saw something interesting about the picture.
