Sharon Osbourne breaks down in tears listening to voicemail Donald Trump left her about Ozzy’s death

Millions of music lovers worldwide mourned the death of Ozzy Osbourne as he passed away in July, aged 76. The “Prince of Darkness” got a funeral cortege through his home city of Birmingham, and condolences were sent to the family. On a new podcast episode of The Osbournes, widow Sharon Osbourne shares a voicemail she received from Donald Trump when her husband died.

On July 30, Ozzy Osbourne was laid to his final rest. The beloved musician had battled Parkinson’s for years, and his legacy will be remembered forever. Widow Sharon Osburne stayed out of the public way for months following the funeral.

In October, her son, Jack, appeared on Good Morning America to share an update on his mother’s condition.

“You know, when people have been asking me that question, I say, ‘She’s OK, but she’s not OK, ’” Jack said, adding that he knows his mother “feels the love” from fans.

“None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love,” he continued. “Every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won’t be there, and what will that be like. It’s just a part of being human. We just didn’t think of it. It was a different weight to it, you know?”

Leaders from all over the world sent their condolences to Sharon Osbourne following the passing of Ozzy.

Sharon Osbourne breaks down when hearing voicemail from Donald Trump after Ozzy’s death
Now, in a new podcast episode of their family’s show, The Osbournes, Jack shared a recording of a voicemail Sharon received from President Donald Trump after Ozzy had passed.

“Hi, Sharon. It’s Donald Trump. I just wanted to wish you the best and the family,” Trm. “Ozzy was amazing. He was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented. So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do. Take care of yourself, say hello to the family. Thanks, bye.”

Sharon broke down as the message was played. She and Trump go way back as she competed on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2010, with Donald being the host.

In the podcast episode, Sharon said she appreciated the condolences from the former real estate mogul and that she put politics aside.

“Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner. Whoever you like, there’s, half of people are gonna go like this,” Sharon said. “And now it’s more so than ever in history is it that people’s choice of which party, which politician, you can’t come out a winner. All I know is a man that I know, I worked with for a month. I spent one month with him and his wife [Melania Trump], who was always gracious, elegant, just a delight to talk to, his wife.”

Sharon says Trump “has always treated me with respect”
She added that Trump has always been kind to her.

“And he was always, ‘How are the children? How is Kelly? I’m so proud of Kelly and Jack for what they’ve done and their manners are great. And he was just a great guy to talk to and he has always treated me with respect.”

Jack added, “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”

Rest in peace, Ozzy. Please share this article and give us your best memories of “The Prince of Darkness” in the comment section on Facebook!
