Jimmy Kimmel delivered savage response after Trump threatened to sue

Jimmy Kimmel’s return to late-night television didn’t please everyone. Donald Trump threatened ABC after the talk show host returned with his show on Tuesday. But that didn’t stop Jimmy Kimmel at all. In his second episode back, he gave Trump a savage response.

On Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel returned with his talk show after being suspended for some days. Following a comment made after Charlie Kirk’s death, his show was preempted on several local stations, and ABC came under heavy criticism for doing so.

However, as they announced Jimmy Kimmel was returning, the heavy fire continued to rain down upon them. But the second time around, criticism came from the White House. President Donald Trump threatened to sue ABC and simultaneously criticized Jimmy Kimmel.

“I can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back. The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled! Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his ‘talent’ was never there,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Why would they want someone back who does so poorly, who’s not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE. He is yet another arm of the DNC and, to the best of my knowledge, that would be a major Illegal Campaign Contribution.”

Trump concluded, “I think we’re going to test ABC out on this. Let’s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative. A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad Ratings.”

Jimmy Kimmel’s savage response to Trump’s suing threat
Jimmy Kimmel became emotional in his first show back from suspension when speaking about Charlie, and especially his widow, Erika. But on Wednesday night’s show, his mood had shifted.

As Donald Trump had threatened to take legal action against ABC, Jimmy Kimmel delivered a brutal response to the President of the United States.

“There are still a lot of people who think I should be pulled off the air for making fun of Donald Trump,” Jimmy Kimmel said. “So, I want to explain. I talk about Trump more than anything because he’s a bully. I don’t like bullies.”

He continued by saying that only Donald Trump would try to “prove” he wasn’t threatening the television network by threatening them.

“You almost have to feel sorry for the people who work for him who try to clean up the messes. They go to all these lengths to say, ‘Oh, it wasn’t coercion. The president was just musing,’” Kimmel continued. “And then, the second Trump is alone, he sits on the toilet. He gets his grubby little thumbs on his phone. And he immediately blows their excuses to smithereens.”

“He does know bad ratings”
Donald Trump has stated that Jimmy Kimmel – along with other talk show hosts – has been struggling with low ratings. To that, the talk show host had a savage reply.

“He does know bad ratings, he has some of the worst ratings any president has ever had,” Kimmel claimed.
