Vance Praises Trump, National Security Team After ….

Vice President JD Vance praised President Donald Trump’s national security team on Sunday, following U.S. strikes on Iran carried out the previous night. The operation, which targeted key Iranian military facilities in response to recent provocations, has drawn both support and criticism.

In remarks to the press, Vance pushed back against media scrutiny of the administration’s security strategy, arguing that the precision and effectiveness of Saturday’s strikes proved the team’s competence.

“Last night’s operation showed the world what this administration has always known: President Trump’s national security team is prepared, decisive, and fully capable of defending American interests,” Vance said. “The media’s constant skepticism doesn’t change the fact that this team is getting the job done.”

The strikes, authorized after heightened tensions with Iran, were described by the Pentagon as a “measured but forceful” response to threats against U.S. personnel and allies in the region. Vance emphasized that the administration remains committed to a strategy of deterrence while avoiding unnecessary escalation.

Critics have questioned the timing and potential consequences of the military action, but Vance dismissed such concerns, stating, “Weakness invites aggression, and this president doesn’t do weakness.”

As debates over the administration’s foreign policy continue, Vance’s comments signal a firm stance in support of Trump’s assertive approach to national security.
