One of the actors who got her big break through the film was Anna Faris. She was only 23 when the first movie was released, and since then, she has become a Hollywood star. A few days ago, she attended the premiere of Scary Movie 6, and many fans reacted strongly to one detail in her appearance.

While Scary Movie has made fun of and referenced many celebrities throughout its franchise. But in the latest film, one joke had to be removed. Who was it about? First Lady Melania Trump and her Be Best initiative.

Speaking with Dexerto, Anna Faris revealed that the pointed joke at Melania had to be cut. Speaking with Dexerto, Anna Faris revealed that she tried to push her character, Cindy, into a “classic MAGA rabbit hole” in the horror-comedy.

“The kind of person that you saw outside of the Walmart during quarantine that was raising some kind of crazy-ass fuss,” she explained.

Anna Faris continued, “There was a moment where I am getting wasted, like so drunk. I am in my truck and I look into the rearview mirror and I say, ‘Be best, Cindy Campbell. Be best. That didn’t make it, but I liked my little winking there.”

“You know, what are you gonna do? You gonna be mad at Cindy? I’m in a movie that is truly the most offensive movie ever made, and I’m the lead of it. And I participate in offensive ideas. I think I can kind of do anything. It liberated me,” the actress concluded.

Scary Movie 6 was released on June 5. It went straight to the top of the box office, making an estimated $55 million in domestic ticket sales in its first weekend.

Whether or not Melania Trump is a fan of the Scary Movie franchise, we leave to the imagination.
