Eye-opening poll reveals how Americans truly feel about Trump amid Iran conflict

Donald Trump’s war in Iran has left the US divided. Now, a new opinion poll shows what Americans really think about the president following the military strikes.

The strikes in Iran from the US and Israel have left the US divided. From the moment the military strikes began a little more than a week ago, even Donald Trump’s most loyal supporters have moved against the decision.

Tucker Carlson stated that the attack was “absolutely disgusting and evil.” and suggested that it would have a significant effect on Trump supporters and the president’s political movement.

“This is going to shuffle the deck in a profound way,” Carlson said.

Popular pro-Trump podcaster Tim Pool also blasted the Trump administration’s decision. Moreover, MAGA influencer brothers Keith and Kevin Hodge wrote in an online post, “Freeing the people of Iran is not why I voted for Trump.

They added, “President Trump has completely LIED to his voters, backstabbed our country and has disgraced his legacy beyond repair at this point, biggest fall from grace i have ever seen.”

What Americans think about putting troops on the ground in Iran
Since several members of Congress and the Senate, mostly Democrats, have spoken out against Donald Trump’s administration’s decision to move into Iran.

While the president stated that he believes the war is about to end soon, on Monday, he also said he’s undecided on whether to send in U.S troops on the ground to secure the stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

“We haven’t made any decision on that. We’re nowhere near it,” Donald Trump told the NY Post.

According to a new survey, Americans do not want troops to be put on the ground in Iran. Per The Hill, a new poll states that 74% of Americans oppose sending U.S. ground troops into Iran, with only 20% saying they support the idea.

The results show that a strong majority of Americans are worried about the idea of U.S. soldiers fighting on the ground in Iran. The poll was released as the conflict in the region continues to dominate political discussions in Washington.

Some lawmakers believe stronger military action may be needed, while others warn that sending troops could lead to a much larger war. For many Americans, the idea of sending troops overseas brings back memories of past wars in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, the midterms in November will be crucial for President Trump. So, what does the public really think of him now that he has entered Iran?

New poll shows what Americans really think of Donald Trump amid Iran conflict
A Fox News poll asked voters how they think Donald Trump is doing as president so far. People were asked about several key issues, including immigration, foreign policy, the economy, and tariffs. The results show that Americans remain divided over Trump’s performance.

97 percent of Democrats said they disapproved of Trump’s performance, while he was given an 87 percent approval rating from Republican voters.

People were divided on immigration. About 60% of voters disapprove of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), while 42% approve of the agency’s work.

When asked what the most important issue in the country is, half of the respondents (50%) said the cost of living is their top concern. Government spending came next at 18%, and jobs were named by 10%.

Other issues mattered to smaller groups. Income inequality was mentioned by 9%, tariffs by 8%, and about 4% said taxes were the biggest concern.

Meanwhile, Trump did better on border security, where 52% of voters approved of how he is handling it, while 48% disapproved.

“Much tougher media coverage,” says the White House
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle commented on the poll, saying: “Based on the RealClearPolitics average, President Trump has a higher approval rating than former presidents Obama and Bush had at this point in their second terms, even with much tougher media coverage.”

For comparison, Barack Obama and George W. Bush had approval ratings of 42.5% and 38.7%, respectively, at a similar stage in their second term, while Trump stands at 43.3%.
