Letitia James Exposed: OnlyFans Star, Fugitive Sister Living In Her Properties

New York Attorney General Letitia James is reportedly housing several family members with criminal records at properties she owns in Virginia, according to documents obtained by the New York Post.

The development comes as James faces federal charges related to those same properties. Among the relatives living there is her grand-niece, 21-year-old Cayla Thompson-Hairston, who is facing legal issues of her own.

Court filings indicate that Thompson-Hairston was charged in April 2024 with providing false information about her felony record while attempting to purchase a firearm in Suffolk, Va., The Post reported. The charge against Thompson-Hairston stems from allegations that she falsified information on federal paperwork while attempting to purchase a firearm. She was legally barred from owning a gun due to a prior felony charge of malicious wounding filed in August 2020.

Under Virginia law, malicious wounding is defined as intentionally shooting, stabbing, cutting, or otherwise causing bodily injury to another person with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable, or kill. The statute is considered one of the most serious violent crime offenses in the state’s criminal code.Thompson-Hairston was a juvenile at the time of the malicious wounding charge, and those case records remain sealed under laws protecting minors, said the report.

Prosecutors later dismissed the firearm-related charges after determining that the earlier malicious wounding charge had been reduced to a misdemeanor under a plea agreement. The change in classification meant she was no longer legally barred from owning a firearm.Thompson-Hairston also maintains an active presence on OnlyFans and various social media platforms, where she regularly shares explicit content.

Thompson-Hairston’s social media accounts feature explicit content along with images of her displaying cash alongside a boyfriend. She has also announced her pregnancy online and shared videos documenting it. The openness of her online presence contrasts sharply with her sealed juvenile court records.

According to The Post, Thompson-Hairston became involved in criminal activity in 2019, when she was 15, alongside her older sister, Nakia Thompson, 36. Documents reviewed by the outlet show that Thompson has an extensive arrest record and currently has outstanding warrants in North Carolina. Her fugitive status indicates she is actively avoiding law enforcement.

Both women reportedly live in homes owned by James in Norfolk. Va. Those properties are now at the center of a federal criminal investigation into mortgage documents bearing James’ signature. Prosecutors are examining whether James made false statements or misrepresentations on the associated loan applications.
James faces up to 60 years in prison on federal bank fraud and false statement charges. Prosecutors allege she provided false information on the mortgage application for the house where Nakia Thompson resides.

Court filings claim James purchased the property in 2020 for $137,000, declaring it as a “second home” she intended to occupy primarily. However, investigators allege she instead moved her niece into the residence and collected rent shortly thereafter, contradicting her statements to the lender.

The alleged misrepresentation, according to prosecutors, allowed James to obtain a lower mortgage rate, resulting in an estimated $19,000 financial benefit. The distinction between a second home and an investment property can significantly affect interest rates and loan terms.

James has denied any wrongdoing. Thompson, meanwhile, testified before a federal grand jury that she lived in the home rent-free. Prosecutors also allege that James listed her father as her husband in order to obtain a better loan rate.
