70s Rock Legend Fighting for His Life After Cardiac Arrest

81-year-old rock icon Dave Edmunds, known for the 1970 hit I Hear You Knocking, is in intensive care after suffering a major cardiac arrest at his home in Monmouthshire.

His wife, Cici, revealed in an emotional Facebook post that he “died in her arms” before being revived by medics. Though he was brought back to life, he has suffered brain damage and memory loss and remains critically ill with a high risk of another cardiac event.

Cici asked fans for prayers, calling his survival a “miracle” and warning of a long road ahead.
