A teacher captured the coach tying a girl’s hair without his knowledge. The mom saw the clip online and had something to say

Teachers play a vital role in shaping young lives, often going above and beyond their duties. One such teacher is Jonathan Oliver, a phys-ed coach at WG Nunn Elementary in Valdosta, Georgia, who was praised for a kind act during a basketball game.

When kindergartener Kristen Paulk asked him to fix her hair, Coach Oliver knelt on a basketball and tied her ponytail, not realizing another teacher was recording the moment. The video went viral, touching hearts online and even making it to Good Morning America.

“It was just a ponytail,” Oliver said humbly, explaining that teachers try to make students feel at home. Kristen’s mom appreciated the sweet gesture, saying she knew her daughter was in good hands.
