My Husband Didn’t Save Me Any Food for Dinner While I Was Feeding Our Newborn Son

I was exhausted after a long day of caring for our newborn son. As usual, I thought my husband would help out with dinner, especially since I was busy feeding our baby. I told him I’d be right back to join him, but when I came to the table, there was nothing left for me.

I tried to stay calm, but I couldn’t help feeling frustrated. How could he eat it all without saving me even a bite? I was starving, and all I wanted was to sit down and enjoy a meal after a long day of caring for our little one.

When I confronted him, he seemed genuinely surprised and apologized, saying he didn’t realize I’d be that hungry. But in that moment, I just needed him to be more considerate and think ahead.

It wasn’t about the food. It was about feeling unsupported when I was already juggling so much. I just needed him to be there for me in those little ways that make a big difference.
