Boss has shocking reason why employees get ‘masturbation break’

In this day and age, the workplace is not the same as it used to be in the past for employees. With the flexibility to work from home and the advent of AI, the workplace has changed forever.

Now, it seems that there are some things in the workplace that might not be all too common but clearly are happening. This company allows employees to take ‘personal time’ during the day.

And the way they define personal time is completely different from what a workplace usually means when they say it. Keep reading to find out more.

A lot of people would jump at the chance of getting some time during your work day to yourself. But this company has other definitions for what it means when you get ‘personal time.’

People who work at ‘Erika Lust Films’ get 30 minutes each day to masturbate.

After a trial run in May 2022, Erika Lust, the head of the company, has now made self-gratification a staple in company policy for good after it proved to be successful.

Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, she has a staff of more than 40 people in her company. Erika Lust Films makes content for the ‘indie adult cinema.’

Erika shared that she introduced this rule after she saw both she and her team seemed to be struggling with the stress of life and the anxieties that Covid brought along with it.

“Years of pandemic life had started to take their toll on us. We were less focused, more agitated, and overall more anxious,” she shared. She decided to do something that would give her employees a much-needed boost.

According to Erika, there is ‘nothing more harmful to a successful work environment than stress’, so she decided to introduce the practice when Masturbation Month rolled around in 2021. Now, the practice is permanent.

Erika, who calls herself the ‘queen of ethical porn’, said she decided to dedicate Masturbation Month to her team so they could have 30 minutes off every day to pleasure themselves.

“I set up a private room in the office which we call ‘the masturbation station’ to provide them with a safe, comfortable space for their masturbation break,” the entrepreneur shared.

She also has a range of sex toys employees can pick from to help. She thinks the practice in the middle of the work day helps everyone feel ‘happier, more relaxed and more focused,’ as well as encouraging more creativity and drive.

“But masturbation break wasn’t only about trying to help my employees feel better in these trying times,” she shared. She went on to explain, “I also wanted to do something to normalize masturbation on a broader scale.”

“Sexual wellbeing is deeply intertwined with your overall mental health and physical health and should be treated with the same respect and resources,” Erika intoned. Adding that, a lot of other companies around the world have now followed suit.

Erika Lust Films has been taking masturbation breaks for employees for a few years now and in 2024, she revealed what it is like to work for her. She showed the world her HQ in Barcelona and gave a look inside her office which was filled with vulva-inspired decorations.

Clearly, Erika Lust is a dynamic leader and has different ideas for what improves morale. What do you think of her ideas? Let us know in the comments.
