Fans beg to know what Barron Trump told Biden at inauguration

At Monday’s inauguration, all eyes weren’t just on the political heavyweights but also on Barron Trump, who had a brief yet intriguing moment with Joe Biden.

The 6-foot-9 first son leaned down to shake hands with the departing president, but what really sent social media into a frenzy was the whisper that followed.

Barron Trump is once again making headlines – this time at his father’s January 20, 2025 inauguration, where he shared an unexpected moment with former president Joe Biden.

The 18-year-old New York University student, who was only 10 when Donald Trump was first sworn in as president, attended the DC event alongside his mother, Melania Trump, and his older half-siblings.

Barron, a towering Trump at 6-foot-9, played up the crowds when Trump was sworn in as the 47th president, soaking up the praise and energy coming from his dad and republican supporters inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.

“I have a very tall son,” Trump said as he introduced Barron – the only child he shares with Melania – to an audience that erupted in cheers.

“He knew the youth vote. We won the youth vote by 36 points. He was saying: ‘Dad, you have to go out and do this one or that one.’ We did a lot of them. He respects them all, he understood them very well.”

Acknowledging the support, Barron – who cast his first vote in the November 2024 elections – is seen waving his arms at the crowds, grinning over the applause.

The handshake and whisper
After Trump was sworn in for his second term, the young man was spotted doing something that rocked the internet.

Barron made his way through the crowd, straying from his father for just one minute – long enough to approach the departing president and former Vice President Kamala Harris.

Next, he reaches down and like a proper first son, he shakes their hands, and before moving along, he whispered something into the 82-year-old man’s ear.

While Barron walked away, briefly pausing to look back and confidently nod, Biden, who initially had a smile on his face, quickly shifted to a serious and somber expression, leaving fans desperate to know what was said.

What did Barron Trump say?
A now viral TikTok clip captured the brief but fascinating moment and social media is obsessed with the footage, sparking speculation about what exactly went down.

Referring to Trump’s famous line on his former reality TV show The Apprentice, one netizen writes, “You’re fired.”

“Game over,” offers a second user in the comments section of the TikTok clip that’s been viewed 3.7 million times in less than 24 hours. A third suggests, “Barron probably said, ‘Your move, old man.’”

Another says he whispered, “Checkmate.”

Others begged to get a lip reader on board, and many were impressed by how the youngest Trump carried himself.

“Priceless, that kid is gangsta already,” writes one, while a second says: “I don’t know what he said, but I bet I want it on a shirt.”

Meanwhile, other netizens gushed over Barron and his “boss move,” saying “he’s the future.”

“The nod and look back, priceless. That’s purebred leadership,” shares one. A second pens, “he’s got leadership written all over him, he’s going to do amazing things in his life.”

Another adds, “This kid is going to be making big moves in his future.”

As the clip continues to make the rounds online, people are demanding answers. Will Barron ever reveal what he said? Given his typically reserved nature, it’s unlikely.
